football and jesus

Holy crap what a great weekend for football!

I don't normally watch the Vols play. I don't normally root for them to win either.
For the first time in.... forever I was hoping the Vols would win the game. And what a game it was.
Four overtimes to decide the winner. Vols score, and get the two point conversion. Kentucky scores and the vols stop em, amazing game. Over 5 hours long, and it was exciting the entire game.
Then the BCS title picture changes AGAIN with LSU losing in triple overtime. A season that started out as predictable has done nothing but confuse and excite everyone, except those whose teams have fallen from grace.

Then we move on to NFL. The Thanksgiving games were all fun to watch. They each brought their own excitement, but no game to me meant more than the Bears taking on Denver at home. Denver was schooling the Bears through this game and if it weren't for the amazing "Anytime" Devin Hester, they would not have stood a chance.
After muffing the first punt sent his way and giving the ball back to Denver who went on to score, Devin later on returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown to tie the game for the Bears. Not too much later he returned a kickoff for a touchdown untouched! And somehow, someway, Wrex Grossman didn't fuck it all up, led the Bears down the field and with the tremendous help of running back Adrian Peterson, helped to take the game into overtime. A few plays later and Robbie "good as" Gould kicked the game winning field goal and kept the Bears slim playoff hopes alive.

Sunday night Philadelphia pushed the Patriots to their limit and almost knocked off the undefeated monster, but couldn't get the job done. This game showed that the Pats are not impervious, but they still are perfect. Can any team beat them? Only five more games left to find out. Greatest football weekend in a long time.

Been doing some research on the Christian deity Jesus. I've known for a long time that his mythology follows the same mythology as many other gods throughout history but I never really did any research on the subject. I found this website today that really brings up questions about the validity of Jesus's story. http://www.near-death.com/experiences/origen048.html
This man seems to have lived and done almost everything that Jesus later did. That is right, this person did all the things that Jesus is famous for hundreds of years before the birth of the "Christ." Brings up questions in my head. I am not one to write it off as coincidence either, considering this is not the only person who seems to have lead the same life as Jesus, also hundreds and even thousands of years before Jesus was born. If it peaks your interest look up these people too:

Born of a virgin mother:

Krishna
Zunis
Quexalcote
Minerva
Yu
Hesus

Born on December 25th:

Attis
Frey
Thor
Dionysus
Osirus
Adonis
Tammuz
Cernunnos

There are plenty more, but that is just a start. Feel free to call me a heretic if you want, I belive it to be true myself.

this is outlandish!

watch this video:

I can't believe they have a game where you play an arab who assassinates good, honest, god-fearing christians like the crusaders.
What is this world coming to where whites are protrayed as these evil men that tried to take over the world? I would be even more appalled at this game but I am currently stewing over GTA: San Andreas still.
Having a black guy go around and kill white cops and people. It's horendous. I won't stand for it.
But us white folk will have our day soon. Resident Evil 5 seems to have a white millitary officer killing off african zombies. That's right darkies.... your day will come!!!!

These are not the lyrics!

I decided to create my own lyrical interpretation video.

I choose a Norma Jean song because they sound funny.

Here is the video, enjoy:

Heroes, you disappoint me

For the first time in two seasons Heroes managed to piss me off last night.
I wasn't even pissed off at last seasons finale. It left a nice opening to continue stories into this season. I didn't bitch about how slow the story was moving along this season either, last season did the same thing. Everything was going fine until the impending writers strike. In what I can only call complete rewrites of episodes to speed this seasons early conclusion along, Heroes has taken a turn for the worse.

Toward the end of last season we had Molly talking about someone much worse than the boogyman (Sylar). This person could apparently see Molly whenever she tried to find him/her.
That storyline continued this season to much delight from myself and my wife and friend. They slapped a huge twist by making this man Parkman's father. Then how do they conclude this story arch? How do they stop this man that was supposed to be worse than Sylar? (A man who was going to blow up New York, take over Nathans role and become president and rule the country) Mr. Parkman tells little Parkman that he has the same ability as him. He can do more than read minds, he can control what people see. He is a nightmare man too. Then Bob confirms this fact and at the crucial moment.... BAM Parkman learns how to use this ability to it's fullest extent and trap his father in his own mind with these words; "You left us... I never left."

WHAT THE FIZZZUCKK?

Alright fine... let's move this along and see how Peter is doing. Peter time travels to 2008 New York after a deadly virus has killed 93% of the worlds population. He learns from his mother that he must go back and save the world. He travels back to modern day Montreal and we are left waiting for the next episode. The one that everyone I know has been waiting for. 4 Months Ago. We finally get to see what happened to everyone after the explosion in the sky. All week long we are teased with commercials stating that we will find out what happened to all the Heroes in the past four months. Yesterday came, the episode started, I loved every minute of it until it ended with Peter flashing back and telling Adam, "I remember everything." Stay tuned to next week.

OH MY GAWD

The only stories they show in this episode are:

1. Peter catches his brother after the explosion, gets him to a hospital and is captured by the company. He eventually meets Adam (who is Kensi) and they escape to go save Nathans life. The Haitian turns on the company by locking Peter in the storage bin and erasing his mind because he believes in Peter.

2. We see Nicki and DL and Micah all happy together. Bob tries to get Nicki to come into the company to be cured but she says she will do it on her own. She eventually manifests a new personality, runs off to LA and DL has to go save her. He does but is shot and killed in the process.

3. Allejandro is getting married. Maya doesn't like the girl. Maya walks in on the new bride screwing her old boyfriend. They try to shut Maya up and she manifests her powers for the first time and kills the entire wedding party minus Allejandro. She runs off to become a nun, her brother finds her and tries to have her taken into custody, she kills again and Allejandro reverses it for the first time. He decides they need to leave and then run off.

4. Nathan is badly burnt. He tells his wife everything. Ms. Peterelli convinces her that Nathan is suffering the same disease that his father had. That nothing he said is true and convinces her to basically leave Nathan. Meanwhile, Peter and Adam sneak into the hospital and Adam give Nathan some of his own healing power blood. Nathan begins to heal and a few scenes later Ms. Peterelli walks into the room to see a completely healed Nathan staring out the window.

That is it. 4 storylines in an hour. We are told nothing of what happened to Parkman, Molly, Mohinder, HRG and Claire or, and this pisses me off the most, Sylar.
The previews on the commercials ALL showed the blood trail leading to the sewer. Instead of them telling us what happened, we see a scene of Sylar with Allejandro and Maya driving in the car.

So now, with three episodes left, I don't know how or why Sylar was saved from dying. I don't know why Ms. Parkman left Matt. I don't know how Matt and Mohinder decided to get together as roomies. I don't know when Mohinder, Matt and HRG decided to try and take down the company. I don't know how HRG managed to relocate to another state, get a job at...wherever he did, and go under the radar. There are still so many questions that they were supposed to answer, but left wide open. I felt like I had watched The Matrix: Revolutions all over again.
With three episodes left, we get a rushed storyline concluding the virus story and the season. We have to wait who knows how long for a new season after the writers finally go back to work. And when we get to that season, will it be full of action, suspence, suprises and awesome heroes... or will this show be doomed now because of the timing of this strike. If last nights episode is any indicator.... then my TV viewing days are short lived.

But for now, enjoy this funny spoof on a metalcore band called Norma Jean.

NO NO NO! Not Grossman

So there was some interesting things happening in the world of football this weekend.
First and foremost, Ohio State lost to unranked Illinois and proved to all the critics that they were a phony team that had right to sit atop the BCS rankings. They sit in a conference that only has two teams that ever amount to anything. One being themselves and the other being Michigan (who also lost this weekend). We already know Michigan was a joke when they were blown out in week 1, it just took a little while longer for everyone to see that Ohio state is not a great team.
You would have thought that after last years National Championship game where they were handed their rear-ends by a team in a much better conference, the SEC, that those pollsters would have known better than to rank this team number 1. Well, we won't have the joy of watching another SEC team beat them up this year. LSU reclaims number 1, and it is their rightful spot.
It has indeed been a crazy year for NCAA football, and I see the next couple weeks causing even more heads to hang in shame.

This brings me to the NFL, where Peyton Manning ties an NFL record for most interceptions in a game with 6. After calling the New England game last week (I love you Tom Brady), I was known around the office to be calling Indy losing this week as well. Manning follows a pattern.
On the opposite side of the league, the Bears watched their quarterback fall to the ground and get hurt. So they put in Chicago's own hated QB Rex Grossman. And unfortunately for the rest of us, he did good and helped the Bears win the game. I hate this man with a passion after he flubbed the SuperBowl by throwing an interception late in the game that could have lead to a score by the Bears and an eventual win. He did well coming off the bench, but that is where he belongs, on the bench until possibly needed.
I was hoping that he would be gone next year. With Griese out it looks like Grossman will take the snaps again. I'm still a Bears fan but I am over this team right now. The coaching staff keeps making the same mistakes and I call it right here and now. If Grossman starts next week, the Bears will lose the game.

You read it here first!

we can't stop here

I want mescaline.
Where the hell are all the people with peyote?

I've been jamming to some "oldschool" hardcore/metal the past few days.
Found my old Luti-Kriss album, then went on the hunt and found old Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, and Bane. Ahh.... late 90's metal.

Man, I really like boobies. I mean I REALLY like boobies. They rock.
If I know you and you are female, show me your boobies. That would rule.
More on this subject later.

I can feel it coming in the air tonight....

I'm covered in cat hair. How nice to get all the way to work and then notice this. This week has been one of those strange ones. Down to $20 to our names has made surviving a little interesting. Fight Club mentality reigns here. Gotta hit rock bottom before you can crawl out of the gutter. I have no complaints though, I am not the only one that is having monetary problems.
Have you ever had one of those persistent colds that just would not go away? Jesus fucking Christ (that is masturbation) I hate this deep seated cough.
I've been listening to early Floyd all week. They are conjuring up some interesting thoughts in my head. So interesting in fact that I have started to write a short story based on a serial killer.

ohhh, There is that nervous stomach again... I hate that thing. Wow do I have my plate full. I have to write something for the paper and make sure to get it done soon. All while fighting with my school. I guess that is just half a plate full.

Sold my drums for money. Plus they were a piece of crap set anyway. When I have money, I will buy my dream set and become the best drummer ever. At lease in my head.

It's funny pic time!
